Terms & Conditions
Welcome to Madeline Aviation. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the hiring of aircraft from Madeline Aviation (“the Operator”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By making a booking with us, you (“the Renter”, “you”) agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Definitions
Aircraft: The aircraft provided by Madeline Aviation for hire.
Renter: The person or entity hiring the Aircraft.
Flight Time: The total time during which the Aircraft is operated by the Renter.
2. Booking and Payment
Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of the required deposit. Full payment must be made prior to the hire date unless otherwise agreed in writing. Refunds and cancellations are subject to the Operator’s cancellation policy, detailed below.
3. Renter Requirements
- The Renter must hold a valid pilot's licence appropriate to the Aircraft hired.
- The Renter must hold a current and valid medical certificate as required by UK aviation regulations.
- The Renter shall provide proof of licence and medical certificate prior to hire.
- The Renter must have the necessary experience and endorsements for the Aircraft type.
4. Use of Aircraft
- The Aircraft shall only be used for lawful purposes and flown within permitted airspace and conditions.
- No smoking or carriage of hazardous materials is permitted on board.
- The Renter shall comply with all applicable aviation regulations and air traffic control instructions.
5. Maintenance and Damage
The Operator is responsible for ensuring the Aircraft is maintained to a safe, airworthy standard prior to hire. The Renter shall be responsible for any damage to the Aircraft caused by negligence, misuse, or violation of these Terms during the hire period.
6. Insurance
The Aircraft is insured by the Operator. The Renter may be liable for an insurance excess or deductible in the event of damage or loss, as specified in the hire agreement.
7. Delays and Cancellations by the Operator
The Operator reserves the right to delay or cancel bookings due to weather, mechanical issues, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, the Operator will notify the Renter as soon as possible and offer alternative arrangements or a full refund.
8. Liability Disclaimer
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use or inability to use the Aircraft.
9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
